Park Facilities & Amenities
 

Most of our customers spend their time on park with their feet up reading the paper or catching up with the sport on the telly. Some of them will walk to the beach or pop into Whitstable to watch the fishing boats unload, or wander in and out of the many boutique shops and coffee houses.

Despite being awarded Five Stars by the tourist board we're not the type of park with bowling alleys, fun-fairs and casinos. Most of our offerings are straight forward, even simple, but they're clean and they're honest and offer good value.

 

As you can see, we have a tennis court. We've also a five-a-side pitch, and two kid's play areas. We've also a nice laundrette but won't bother with a photo of it because it's not really a holiday-ish thing.


 
 

There's a bar on park run by our colleague Carol Howard, but please note this is a seperate business from the caravan park.

At busy times there's entertainment organised, and this is complimented throughout the year by quizzes, karaoke, bingo and the like.

Carol also manages the swimming pool which is adjacent to the clubhouse. Most seasons the pool is open between May and September, although during some of that time only at weekends.

We've seperate junior and a senior play areas comprising mini and tall towers, aerial climbing frames and slides etc, all with cushioned surfacing underneath.

For safety and peace of mind our play equipment is regularly checked throughout the season. In fact, checking and inspecting things is a bit of a hobby of ours - if it's not the play kit, it's the fire extinguishers, or the electric hook-ups, or the touring field loos, or the street lights . . .

Often on Sunday mornings our Rob organises a couple of teams for a five-a-side game down the bottom of the park.

Peter our gardener asked to put this photo on here - to be fair he does do a great job and he's often out there in all weathers bless him.
