Touring & Camping . . .

Well folks - it's been another busy year in our camping field and it's now closed for the winter. The 2011 season was good to us weather wise and the Bank Holiday weekends were booked out well in advance, so remember to get your reservation in early for your visit.

We had our annual Tourist Board inspection and we are pleased to report that we've kept our Five Star award for another year.

So, just where is Homing Park then? Find us here.

Winterising your caravan or motorhome. The good folks at ukcampsite.co.uk have drawn up a handy checklist to help your pride and joy get through the long winter months unscathed. Read about it here.

Relax, you're in good hands

We've gone to a lot of effort to make our touring & camping field comfortable and a lot of our visitors keep coming back. The pitches are grassy and pretty level, most of them are demarked by hedges and all of them have free services of water, electric, TV point, lighting, and waste drainage. Our loos and showers have again been graded Five Stars in the Loo of the Year awards and are very accessible.

Pitches & Prices

We've only forty three pitches so this does mean that for busy times of year you’ll have to make a reservation, oh and if you were wondering, they are in a separate area from the big static caravans, see our park map. We’ve noticed some park’s bookings can be complicated with add-on costs for everything from your car to the kid's beach ball. See what you make of our tariffs.    Please take the time to look at our Terms & Conditions ahead of making your booking.

How big is your rig?

Although the AA inspector man tells us our pitches are sized well we do have some issues with jumbo tents motor-homes and tourers big enough to accommodate a travelling circus. So, to this end, and to obey our fire regulations, we won’t accept tents of more than eight berths, or longer or wider than five metres (excluding the rope bits). If you think your tourer or motor-home might fall into the above category give us a call before you book to save any red faces.

Info & Tips

The free electricity supply is rated at 10amps and you'll need to bring an extension lead with a blue round-pin plug (like this) on one end of it to connect up to the socket on your pitch.

We've no shop on park but our local friendly Spar is only a six or eight minute walk down the road.

Church Lane is very narrow so make sure you approach it from the Thanet Way end (A299) if you're towing or driving a camper van.

Want more park info? Read about our park facilities here.

Have you seen us on the Caravan Channel? They paid us a visit this summer and filmed a six minute video of the park and local area. Click on the logo to view the film.

Important - Please Note:

  • We can't take tents longer than 5 metres wide or long and/or bigger that 8 berths. Sorry.
  • We have a freezer in reception for your ice packs (no food items though).
  • If you’re bringing lilo's to sleep on don't forget your pump.
  • Dogs are allowed but must be kept on a lead at all times. Please exercise him/her off park.
  • To access the disabled facilities in the shower block you will need your RADAR key.
  • For your convenience we are open until 8.00pm on Fridays between Easter and August Bank Holiday.
  • Only one tent/tourer/motorhome is allowed per plot. If your party has an extra tent, or a gazebo, an additional plot will be required.
  • A returnable £10.00 deposit is required for your pass for the automated traffic barrier.
  • A 10mph speed limit applies, and, for your safety, skateboarding and cycling etc is forbidden on park.
  • Barbecues are allowed (please keep them up off the grass) but open fires are prohibited.
  • Sorry – no commercial or tradesmen's vehicles are allowed on park.
